Grammy Awards 2010 nominations list

Grammy Awards 2010 nominations list is available by clicking here. A MS Word file of the list of nominees for the 2010 Grammys was 72 pages long. It's a lot easier to sort through the list using the menu on the official Grammy Web site, anyways.

What's in store for Sunday's show? Other than the anticipation of seeing what everyone will be wearing on the red carpet, there's a lot of anticipation of who will win each

2010 is a great year for Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The two first went head-to-head when Kanye West interrupted the announcement of Taylor Swift's VMA. Beyonce has a leg up on Swift with 10 nominations as opposed to the country/pop singer's 8. The true test is to see who will win which awards.

Trying to determine who is more deserving - the R&B sensation or America's pop/country princess - is somewhat of a tossup. The two are extremely talented, and comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges.

Other than the two music divas, other nominees include Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, and more. There's no way to list all the talented artists who will be present at the show without inadvertently forgetting to name one.

Lady Gaga is also a breakout artist that has gained a considerable amount of popularity over the last year. Her hit single "Poker Face" is up for "Record of the Year" and "Record of the Year" and will compete against "All the Single Ladies" and "You Belong with Me." I have no clue how the critics determine who wins the award, as all three of these songs are absolutely great.

Artists up for awards in the Pop category include Taylor Swift, Katy, and Pink. Pink's song "Sober" is up for "Best Female Pop Performance", and the throaty vocals and catchy lyrics are sure to make her a strong contender for this trophy.
