Peterborough BCKA fighters shone in the second round of the Boston Series.
The club’s talented bunch roared to 18 martial arts trophy successes at the event in Kirton which featured kickboxing, karate, kung-fu and freestyle.
BCKA club chief Andy Whitwell highlighted the performances of Courtney Brown (who won the under 74kg men’s advanced title), Harry Nunn (second in the under 5ft 4ins boys’ fighting black-belts despite only being a blue belt himself) and Freya Molloy (the girls’ under 5ft 2ins champion) for special praise. Molloy beat a world and European champion in the final of her section win her championship trophy.
Whitwell said: “I’m very proud of my fighters’ achievements. The standard was very high and every trophy was earned the hard way.
“I hope we can continue our success at the BCKA National Championships later this month.”
BCKA are keen to attract new students to their local clubs at Whittlesey, Stanground and Bushfield.
